Need a little bit of inspiration for your future medical career? Then Summer Opportunities Abroad (SOA) is here to help!

SOA is a SOMSpecial event that has a little bit of everything: a theoretical part (conference), and a practical part, (workshop). Depending on your particular interest you can choose whether you attend one or the other, or both. During the conference, you will get acquainted with various summer internships available abroad for undergraduate students. The workshop will then give you insight into the fundamentals of a successful application, so take notes and prepare yourself for your research internship abroad!

Mihai Stancu, MD, PhD will be the coordinator for this edition of SOA. Having started his own scientific journey through an internship abroad, Dr. Stancu has a unique perspective on the application process and insightful advice to offer!

Both the conference and the workshop will take place at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The conference will be held on Friday, 13th of December, at 15:00 and the workshop will take place the following day,  Saturday, 14th of December, at 14:00.
