Sleep Club: Sleep Physiology and Disorders
Have you ever woken up just to feel even more tired than when you went to sleep? Have you ever wondered how an all-nighter affects your brain? Then Sleep Club: Sleep Physiology and Disorders is here to answer your questions!
In this workshop, you will learn about sleep physiology and sleep disorders. Prepare to dive into the mechanisms of widely known disorders such as insomnia or sleep apnea, and learn about less talked-about sleep pathologies and their underlying causes. By the end of the event, you will be able to recognize sleep stages on an EEG and interpret their meaning, and you will get familiar with all kinds of sleep studies.
