SOMS Molecular’s Journal Club
Inspired by almost 200 years of practice in science worldwide, Journal Club is the first SOMS Molecular project. Each edition has a new theme, introduced by a scientific coordinator who holds a short lecture on the general overview and new directions in the field. But this conference isn’t just about listening! Three medical students will then present relevant articles that expand on the theme and in the end, they get constructive feedback from other participants and the scientific coordinator. Journal Clubs have often been cited as bridges meant to connect research and clinical practice, but they are also a great way to prepare yourself if you plan to become an active participant in a medical conference. Let’s start networking!
